'There's a powerful ratafia note here from sloe stones, allied beautifully to orange zest on nose and on palate. The sweetness is beautifully measured, allowing the bitterness of Sevilles and the sourness of sloes to make their presence felt. The spirit is warming, a well measured abv endowing warmth to the potentially austere fruit. A delightful, warming sip with a smooth, mellow finish still redolent with aromatics. '
