Traditional plum jam made with Yellow Egg plums from old orchards in the Vale of Evesham. These plums, found growing wild near Pershore in the 1800s make a golden coloured sharp and tangy jam.
Over the last few summers we have been working to forage and develop two new jams that reflect the true flavour of the incredible English plum varieties we harvest.
These plum varieties date back to the Victorian times when these simple preserves were a staple of pantries all over the land. To let the flavour of the plums shine our jam is only made with two ingredients plums and sugar, just as they should be.
