' Sloe and bitter orange - that is a brave combination we think! This has a glorious colour and wow are we surprised! You get the bitter orange and the sloes. The flavour combination is delicious! We were not sure about the rather large bits of orange but were again pleasantly surprised as they are so well cooked and tender. It sounds like nit-picking but maybe the pieces of orange may be too large for some but, as they are so expertly cooked, we think it works (and it made our eyes light up!).You could wake yourself up for breakfast OR use it as a perfect alternative to normal Cumberland sauce!'
